Rosemary & Tea Tree Essential Oil Set of 2 — Hair & Scalp Care
Couldn't load pickup availability
Two bottles — 15 ml or 30 ml — aimed squarely at the scalp: rosemary, the oil most associated with hair-care routines, and tea tree, the clarifying one people reach for when the scalp feels congested or flaky. Steam-distilled and undiluted, so you mix them into your own carrier oil or shampoo at the strength you want.
What’s in this set
| Oil | Botanical name | Extraction | Plant part | Size |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Rosemary | Rosmarinus officinalis | Steam distilled | Leaves | 15 or 30 ml |
| Tea Tree | Melaleuca alternifolia | Steam distilled | Leaves | 15 or 30 ml |
Why rosemary and tea tree
- Rosemary (Rosmarinus officinalis) — The reason most people buy a hair set. Herbaceous and sharp — traditionally massaged into the scalp in a carrier oil as part of a weekly hair-care routine.
- Tea Tree (Melaleuca alternifolia) — Sharp, green and unmistakably medicinal. The classic choice for blemish-prone skin and for freshening laundry, floors and bins — always diluted.
How to use
Scalp oil. 2 drops rosemary and 1 drop tea tree per 10 ml of jojoba or coconut oil. Massage in, leave 30–60 minutes, shampoo out. Twice a week.
Into shampoo. 5–8 drops total into a 200 ml bottle of unscented shampoo, shaken well.
Clarifying rinse. 2 drops tea tree in a mug of water as a final rinse after shampooing.

Safety & storage
- Never apply undiluted essential oil to skin. Dilute in a carrier oil first.
- Patch test on the inner forearm and wait 24 hours before wider use.
- Not to be taken internally. Keep away from eyes and mucous membranes.
- Keep out of reach of children and pets. Consult a doctor if pregnant, nursing or under medical care.
- Store upright in the closed amber bottle, away from sunlight and heat. Flammable — keep away from open flame.
Frequently asked questions
Can I add tea tree to my shampoo permanently?
Yes — 5 to 8 drops in a 200 ml bottle is the usual strength. Shake before each wash, since the oil will separate.
Do I need to dilute rosemary oil before putting it on my scalp?
Yes. Essential oils are concentrates, not hair oils. Mix 2–3 drops per 10 ml of a carrier such as jojoba, coconut or almond oil — roughly a 1–2% dilution — and massage that into the scalp.
How often should I use it?
Most people settle on twice a week. Massage in, leave for 30–60 minutes or overnight on a towel, then shampoo out.
Can I leave it in overnight?
Yes, once it is diluted in a carrier oil. Do a patch test behind the ear first, and use an old pillowcase.
Does rosemary oil actually work for hair?
It has a long traditional history in scalp care and is one of the most-used oils in the category. We do not make medical or regrowth claims for it — if you are dealing with significant hair loss, that is a conversation for a dermatologist.
Can I add these to my regular hair oil bottle?
That is the easiest way to use them. Add 10–15 drops to a 100 ml bottle of your usual carrier oil, shake, and use as normal.
