Lavender & Patchouli Essential Oil Set of 2 — Skin Care & Calm

Two bottles, 15 ml or 30 ml, at opposite ends of the same mood: lavender soft and floral, patchouli deep and earthy. Together they make the blend that sits behind a great many natural perfumes and evening skin oils — and patchouli's fixative quality means the scent lasts far longer than lavender does alone. Both steam-distilled and undiluted.
What’s in this set
| Oil | Botanical name | Extraction | Plant part | Size |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Lavender | Lavandula angustifolia | Steam distilled | Flowering tops | 15 or 30 ml |
| Patchouli | Pogostemon cablin | Steam distilled | Leaves | 15 or 30 ml |
Why they belong together
- Lavender (Lavandula angustifolia) — The all-rounder of any collection. Soft, floral and familiar — traditionally used to wind down in the evening, and the one oil most people reach for first in a diffuser.
- Patchouli (Pogostemon cablin) — Deep, earthy and unmistakable. Doubles as a natural fixative — a drop makes the rest of a blend last noticeably longer on skin or in a room.
How to use

- Patch test on the inner forearm and wait 24 hours before wider use.
- Not to be taken internally. Keep away from eyes and mucous membranes.

Frequently asked questions
Are these two right for blemish-prone skin?
They are not the obvious pair for it — this set is built around calm and scent rather than clarifying. If blemish-prone skin is the reason you are here, the tea tree sets are the better fit.
Patchouli smells very strong on its own — is that normal?
Yes. Patchouli is meant to be used at one part to three or four parts of anything else. Used that way it stops reading as patchouli and simply makes the lavender last.
Can I apply these directly to my face?
No. Dilute to 1% for facial use — about 1 drop per 5 ml of carrier oil or unscented moisturiser. Undiluted essential oil on facial skin is the most common mistake beginners make.
How do I patch test?
Put a diluted drop on the inside of your forearm, leave it 24 hours, and check for redness or itching before using it on your face.
Can I use these on sensitive skin?
Start at 0.5–1% dilution and patch test. Skip citrus oils before sun exposure — cold-pressed citrus is photosensitising.
Can I mix them into my existing serum or moisturiser?
Yes, and it is the simplest way to start. Add 1–2 drops to a palmful of unscented moisturiser rather than to the whole jar, so you can adjust.
