Peppermint & Eucalyptus Essential Oil Set of 2 — Steam Inhalation Blend
Peppermint & Eucalyptus Essential Oil Set of 2 — Steam Inhalation Blend
Couldn't load pickup availability
The two oils that have sat beside the steam bowl in Indian homes for generations, in two separate bottles, in your choice of 15 ml or 30 ml. Eucalyptus globulus is the broad, camphorous one; peppermint is sharper and cooler because of its menthol. Both steam-distilled from leaves and supplied undiluted, so one or two drops is genuinely all a bowl of water needs.

Why this pairing
- Peppermint (Mentha piperita) — Cooling, bright and unmistakable. Traditionally used in steam and, heavily diluted, in temple and neck massage oils.
- Eucalyptus (Eucalyptus globulus) — The steam-bowl classic. A familiar, clearing aroma that Indian households have leaned on through every change of season.
How to use
Steam inhalation. 1–2 drops total in a bowl of hot — not boiling — water. Towel over the head, eyes closed, breathe for a few minutes. More drops is not better.
Shower. Two drops on the shower floor, away from the direct stream.
Diffuser. 3 drops eucalyptus to 2 drops peppermint, run 30–60 minutes.
Chest and neck. 1–2% in a carrier oil for adults. Not for the faces of young children.

Frequently asked questions
Can I use this for my child?
Peppermint and eucalyptus are generally not recommended for children under six, and never near an infant's face. Diffuse in the room instead of direct steam, and check with your paediatrician first.
How do I use these for steam?
1–2 drops in a bowl of hot — not boiling — water. Drape a towel over your head, keep your eyes closed, and breathe for a few minutes. More drops is not better; the vapour is strong.
Eucalyptus or peppermint?
They do different things to the same steam. Eucalyptus is the broad, camphorous one; peppermint is sharper and cooler because of its menthol. Together they are the traditional pairing.
Can children use these?
Peppermint and eucalyptus are generally not recommended for children under six, and never near the face of an infant. Diffuse in the room instead of using direct steam, and check with your paediatrician.
Can I put a drop in my nose or take it internally?
No. Essential oils are never to be taken internally or applied inside the nose.
Can I add them to a hot shower?
Yes — a couple of drops on the shower floor away from the direct stream gives you a gentler version of the same steam.
