Four 15 ml bottles that cover a full skin routine: tea tree for blemish-prone areas, frankincense for facial oils, lavender for almost everything, ylang ylang for the evening. Steam-distilled, undiluted, supplied as four separate bottles rather than a pre-blended serum, so you can mix a 1% facial oil and a 3% body oil from the same four.

What’s in this set

Oil Botanical name Extraction Plant part Size
Frankincense Boswellia serrata Steam distilled Gum resin 15 ml
Tea Tree Melaleuca alternifolia Steam distilled Leaves 15 ml
Lavender Lavandula angustifolia Steam distilled Flowering tops 15 ml
Ylang Ylang Cananga odorata Steam distilled Flowers 15 ml

What each one is for

  • Frankincense (Boswellia serrata) — Resinous, dry and quietly luxurious. Traditionally used in facial oils for mature skin, and burned for centuries in meditation and prayer.
  • Tea Tree (Melaleuca alternifolia) — Sharp, green and unmistakably medicinal. The classic choice for blemish-prone skin and for freshening laundry, floors and bins — always diluted.
  • Lavender (Lavandula angustifolia) — The all-rounder of any collection. Soft, floral and familiar — traditionally used to wind down in the evening, and the one oil most people reach for first in a diffuser.
  • Ylang Ylang (Cananga odorata) — A heady, sweet tropical floral. Traditionally used in hair and skin oils across South and South-East Asia, and as a relaxing evening aroma. A little goes a long way.

How to use

Night facial oil. 1 drop frankincense and 1 drop lavender into 10 ml of jojoba. Warm between the palms, press into clean skin.

Blemish-prone areas. Tea tree at 1–2% in aloe gel, applied to the area only.

Bath and body. 4–5 drops stirred into a tablespoon of milk or bath salts, or 2–3% in a body oil after a shower.

Safety & storage

  • Never apply undiluted essential oil to skin. Dilute in a carrier oil first.
  • Patch test on the inner forearm and wait 24 hours before wider use.
  • Not to be taken internally. Keep away from eyes and mucous membranes.
  • Keep out of reach of children and pets. Consult a doctor if pregnant, nursing or under medical care.
  • Store upright in the closed amber bottle, away from sunlight and heat. Flammable — keep away from open flame.

Frequently asked questions

Can I blend all four together?

Yes, but keep the total to 1% for the face. Frankincense and lavender are the easy pairing; add a single drop of ylang ylang if you want the scent to be more floral.

Can I apply these directly to my face?

No. Dilute to 1% for facial use — about 1 drop per 5 ml of carrier oil or unscented moisturiser. Undiluted essential oil on facial skin is the most common mistake beginners make.

How do I patch test?

Put a diluted drop on the inside of your forearm, leave it 24 hours, and check for redness or itching before using it on your face.

Will this clear my acne?

We do not make treatment claims. Tea tree and similar oils have a long traditional use in routines for blemish-prone skin, but persistent or cystic acne needs a dermatologist, not an essential oil.

Can I use these on sensitive skin?

Start at 0.5–1% dilution and patch test. Skip citrus oils before sun exposure — cold-pressed citrus is photosensitising.

Can I mix them into my existing serum or moisturiser?

Yes, and it is the simplest way to start. Add 1–2 drops to a palmful of unscented moisturiser rather than to the whole jar, so you can adjust.
